#04 - Bewilderment
Jun should have known it'd be a mistake to agree to camping. In point of fact, he had known it'd be a mistake but he'd pushed aside suspicion and that irksome feeling of pending doom in favor of having a good time with his friends. Jun needed to learn to trust his instincts better.
"YOU ASSHOLES!!" Jun screamed, his voice echoing back at him from the trees that surrounded the lake his inflatable mattress was now floating about. Clawing fruitlessly at his bedding, Jun did his best not to upset the center of balance and flop himself into the cold, dingy water.
From the bank, Jun could hear howls of laughter and even as he began processing a plan to save himself which involved abandoning his mattress and diving into the freezing lake, he simultaneously began plotting his revenge. It was frightening how well adrenaline enabled him to multitask.
